In 2012, Meljay and her family started rescuing horses in need, horses with behaviour issues that the owners or other trainer had not been able to resolve.  The herd of 8 horses were used in the research over 7 years supporting the book - The Equine Semaphore Code - the horse talks back.

We re-homed the horses in 2021, but they will always be in our hearts and minds.
